This image from the movie 'King Kong' was the source of my tunnel even though the movie I based the tunnel on was 'Sin City'. The image was cropped into nine frames and then the colour saturation of each frame was adjusted so that the centre of the image would seem to be the most intensely coloured . The Empire State building in the foreground was also reduced to only red and blue. Unfortunately because of printing issues the finished product was not of the highest quality. The transparencies the images were printed on jammed the printer several times and the came out looking smudged so light could not effectively penetrate and create the desired effect.
